Short-wave ionosphere diagnostics subdivision

The short-wave ionosphere diagnostics subdivision consists of scientific and engineer support groups: 2 doctors of science, 4 Ph.D., 1 senior scientist and 8 engineers. Head: Grozov V. P.

The main subdivision's instrument is the Chirp ionosonde.

The main objectives of the short-wave ionosphere diagnostics subdivision are:

• to obtain experimental data with the Chirp ionosonde;
• ionogram processing;
• to set up and maintain the database.
